I am a physician fascinated by chaos theory, aspiring to pursue a Ph.D. in Biomedical Data Science. I graduated from medical school in India and am involved in various clinical research projects. Currently, I am pursuing my Master's in Quantitative Biology and Bioinformatics at
Carnegie Mellon University.
I'm developing my skills in programming along with the fundamental mathematics necessary for machine learning(ML) and computational medicine. There's generally a large gap between an engineer's knowledge of the human body and a physician's understanding of ML.
And this is where I want to make a difference.
I like to understand human pathophysiology from a mathematical perspective. I have worked on research projects in COVID-19, dengue, chronic kidney disease, and chronic liver diseases with prognostic end-points. Besides two interesting case reports, I have also worked on the applications of chaos theory and "Fractals" in the field of medicine.
