A Bit About Me
I’m a physician turned researcher, driven by a vision to reimagine healthcare with the power of artificial intelligence. I'm pursuing a Ph.D. in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania
in the Artificial Intelligence for Ambulatory Care Innovation (AI-4-AI) Lab
under the mentorship of Dr. Kevin B Johnson. My research focuses on leveraging
large language models (LLMs) to build AI-powered conversational agents that assist clinicians
and enhance the patient experience—starting in the primary care clinic.

I earned my medical degree from JJM Medical College, India, where I developed a strong clinical foundation, and later completed my Master’s in Quantitative Biology and Bioinformatics at Carnegie Mellon University, where I explored how data and systems thinking can reshape healthcare.

There's generally a large gap between an engineer's knowledge of the human body and a physician's understanding of AI. And this is where I want to make a difference.
